I would like to use Rainforest Green Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) on my island (http://maplered.com) top. The rest of the kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops are already Dakota Mahogany, as is the island (http://maplered.com) , but I found this Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) and (http://maplered.com) fell in love with the Colors (http://www.g640.net) . Question : will the Rainforest withstand (http://maplered.com) heat of pots and (http://maplered.com) pans from the oven and (http://maplered.com) stove top. I know the Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) will show some wear from scratches and (http://maplered.com) I'm willing to tolerate this, but I am used to using the island (http://maplered.com) for a work surface for hot pots and (http://maplered.com) pans. I would also like your opinion on mixing these two patterns in the same kitchen.
